Dunedin and the Fund Programme

Dunedin Capital Partners Ltd is a UK based, independently owned, private equity manager which operates as a General Partner specialising in small and medium sized buyouts within the UK. Dunedin operates through an investment team of 17 professionals based in London and Edinburgh.

Since its own buyout in 1996, Dunedin has completed 36 buyout transactions in the UK private equity market and currently manages £500m (€630m) of assets for a range of institutional investors. Its latest fund, the £250m (€315m) Dunedin Buyout Fund II, was raised in 2006.

Dunedin has also served as the sole investment manager for Dunedin Enterprise Investment Trust PLC, an investment company listed on the London Stock Exchange since its formation in 1987.

Dunedin launched its fund investment programme in 2008 in order to increase the exposure of its client, Dunedin Enterprise Investment Trust PLC, to the European buyout market outside the UK. Implementing the programme's investment strategy will see a series of commitments made to and minority investments completed alongside small to medium sized, single country focussed buyout funds located across Europe
